Two-way guard reflects on college rivalry game and NBA transition

College game details The guard scored 13 points, including five in overtime, to help secure the victory. He said fans threw trash at players during the game. The guard waved to the crowd and made a profane remark that later circulated online. He told a reporter he enjoyed the moment.

Professional transition The guard has converted 33 percent of his field-goal attempts and 22.2 percent of his three-point attempts through six summer league games. He shot 42.1 percent from the field in his final college season. The guard said improving his three-point shooting and lateral quickness are priorities.

Summer league coach Ty Abbott said the guard will be asked to handle the ball and play off it while remaining aggressive.
