Tyson Fury to Fight Mariusz Wach in Thailand and Anthony Joshua to Face Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia

Tyson Fury will fight Mariusz Wach on 24 July in Pattaya, Thailand, while Anthony Joshua is set to face Kristian Prenga the following day in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 37-year-old trains in the city and returns to the ring after a points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that ended a 15-month retirement.

The bout marks Joshua's first fight since a December 2025 car crash in Nigeria that killed two of his friends. Both fighters must win to reach their planned 2026 encounter. Eddie Hearn announced in April that Joshua had signed to fight Fury.

Wach, 46, holds a record of 39 wins from 51 professional bouts with 20 knockouts. He has won three of his past 10 fights and lost by second-round stoppage to Moses Itauma in a WBO Intercontinental title bout in July 2024. He was also defeated by Dillian Whyte in 2019 and Frazer Clarke in 2023.

Hearn told BBC Sport last week that Joshua and Fury remain contractually committed to staging their fight in the UK despite speculation it could move to the United States.
