In the speech, he listed several consumer technologies and agricultural products and said people in Lebanon should express appreciation for them. "I wonder if everyone in Lebanon understands that if there were no Israel, they wouldn't have a cell phone," Huckabee said.

Lebanon's southern border area has experienced ongoing military activity. Lebanon's Health Ministry reported that Israeli air strikes since March 2 have killed 3,151 people and wounded 9,571. The casualties include 123 medics, at least 210 children, and nearly 300 women.
Huckabee has previously expressed support for expanded Israeli territorial claims based on biblical references. In a separate interview with podcast host Tucker Carlson, he discussed the possibility of Israel occupying land between the Nile and the Euphrates rivers.
