U.S. Conducted Military Actions Against Iran and Venezuela

U.S. forces bombed Iran in February and removed Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro from his residence in January. Celebrations followed in Iranian and Venezuelan exile communities in the United States. Videos of the events were shared publicly.

For nearly two decades, Iranian and Venezuelan émigré networks supported U.S. campaigns targeting their home governments. They helped present the actions as liberation efforts rather than aggression.

Opposition leaders received assessments that they lacked sufficient support inside their countries. Statements described them as nice people but unfit to lead. One leader offered a prize after the removal of Maduro and expressed gratitude for an hour of freedom.
