U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of more than 121,000 children's squeeze toys sold at Walmart and Ollie's Bargain Outlet. The toys may contain asbestos in the sand filling. The recalled items are two models of Orb Funkee squeeze toys with date code 3102491A.
Model 17451 is a large golden monkey and model 41929 is an assortment of smaller monkeys in orange, purple, and green.
The toys were manufactured in China by The Orb Factory Limited, a Canadian company. They were sold nationwide from February 2025 through April 2026 at prices ranging from $5 to $40.
Consumers should stop using the toys immediately and contact The Orb Factory for a refund. com. If the toy has been ruptured or the sand has escaped, consumers should wear a mask and gloves, use damp cloths to clean up, double-bag the materials, and dispose of them according to local regulations. There have been no reports of injury or death related to these toys as of May 22, 2026.
