U.S. Central Command conducted defensive strikes on Iranian radar and command-and-control sites for drones in Goruk and Qeshm Island on Saturday and Sunday.

An MQ-1 drone operating over international waters was involved in the operation. U.S. fighter aircraft eliminated Iranian air defenses, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones. No American service members were harmed during the strikes, according to CENTCOM. Kuwait’s air defenses opened fire early Monday morning to intercept incoming drone and missile fire.

U.S. forces had targeted a telecommunications tower.

Iranian officials said they responded with an attack without specifying the location, in a statement carried by the state-run IRNA news agency. U.S. and Iranian officials have insisted they are continuing to negotiate over Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

” He added that it is MUCH tougher for him to properly do his job and negotiate when political hacks keep negatively ‘chirping’ at levels never seen before. President Trump lashed out at Senator Thom Tillis, Senator Bill Cassidy, and Congressman Thomas Massie.

Senator Bill Cassidy voted to convict Trump of incitement of insurrection following the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Senator Bill Cassidy was denied a third term by Louisiana Republican primary voters last month. Congressman Thomas Massie was defeated by Trump’s hand-picked challenger, Ed Gallrein.
