U.S. Strikes Iranian Radar and Drone Sites; Iran Launches Retaliatory Attack

U.S. Central Command conducted strikes on Iranian radar and command-and-control sites for drones in Goruk and Qeshm Island on Saturday and Sunday. An MQ-1 drone operating over international waters was involved in the operation. U.S. fighter aircraft eliminated Iranian air defenses, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones.

No American service members were harmed during the strikes, according to CENTCOM. Kuwait’s air defenses opened fire early Monday morning to intercept incoming drone and missile fire.
