U.S. and Iranian officials said they are approaching a final agreement that would address Iran's enriched uranium stockpile. Central Command announced it has redirected 100 commercial vessels under a maritime blockade that began April 13. Iranian restrictions imposed February 28 have left at least 2,000 ships unable to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

An Israeli strike on a residential building in southern Lebanon's Sir el-Gharbiyeh municipality killed five people, including children, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. Rescue teams are still searching the rubble. A separate attack near Hiram Hospital in Tyre district injured at least 25 medical and administrative staff.

Lebanon's Health Ministry said the facility sustained serious damage and accused the attacking forces of violating international humanitarian law.

Iran's foreign minister stated that any final agreement must include a ceasefire in Lebanon and that Tehran will continue supporting Hezbollah's efforts. The message was conveyed directly to the group's leadership.
