U.S. Lifts Export Controls on Fable 5 for Public Access but Keeps Limits on Mythos 5

Anthropic said Tuesday that public access to its Fable 5 model will resume on July 1 after the Commerce Department lifted export control restrictions. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick informed Anthropic co-founder Tom Brown in a June 30 letter that the controls on Fable 5 and Mythos 5 were being removed.
