The U.S. Postal Service released ten new Barbie stamps on Saturday. @ABC reported that the stamps show the doll in ten outfits representing different occupations, including an astronaut, music star, paleontologist, sign language teacher, soccer player and surgeon.
The stamps use a rarely used format that makes them a third taller than the usual vertical commemorative stamp. They are Forever stamps equal to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce rate of 78 cents, which rises to 82 cents on Sunday. Ethel Kessler, a USPS art director who collaborated with Mattel on the project, said the team approached the work with a spirit of fun and incorporated the famous Barbie Pink color to convey joy.
The stamps are being released at the 2026 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Austin, Texas.
