U.S. Military began enforcing its blockade of all vessels entering and exiting Iranian ports on 13 April. U.S. forces enforced blockade measures against the M/T Lexie as it headed toward Kharg Island.
U.S. Central Command. Iran has not publicly commented on the strike. The BBC has contacted Botswana's government for comment.
