Tara Kermiet, a burnout and career coach, described focusing effort on controllable factors such as how experience is presented and which roles are targeted. She recommended treating the search as a scheduled work block with defined start and end times.
Dante Rosh, a career and leadership coach, said applicants should send a solid application, conduct some networking, and then move on to other opportunities. He added that rejection should be treated as data rather than a measure of personal worth.
