Uber is in advanced talks to acquire Delivery Hero. Delivery Hero confirmed the negotiations in a Tuesday statement, noting that Uber had made a takeover offer to all shareholders. The company declined to comment on speculation about the offer price.
Uber first approached Delivery Hero in May with an offer of 38 euros per share. As part of the transaction structure, Delivery Hero is set to sell its Turkish unit Yemeksepeti and several European businesses to an investment firm. An announcement on the deal is expected as early as Thursday.
