Uber Partners with Mews to Integrate Ride Booking in 15,000 Hotels
Uber and hotel software firm Mews announced an integration that lets front-desk staff book rides inside the property-management system used by 15,000 hotels. The partnership was unveiled May 27 at Mews Unfold in Amsterdam.
fortune.comUber and Mews have connected Uber’s ride-booking tools directly to the Mews property-management platform. Front-desk agents can now arrange, track, and bill rides without leaving the same system used for check-ins and payments. The companies said the change removes the need for staff to telephone local taxi firms.
Mews research cited in the announcement found guests spend an average of $50 per stay on transportation they arrange themselves.
Payments will add ride charges to the guest folio automatically. The integration also supports guest-initiated bookings through a portal and includes airport pick-ups and live tracking. Christophe Peymirat, head of Uber for Business EMEA, said travelers value the transparent pricing.
Mike Coscetta, president of Mews, noted that one hotel reported 80 percent of guests arriving via third-party transport.
The hotel channel fits Uber’s GO-GET 2026 plan, which groups app functions under go, get, and travel. Uber logged more than 3 billion trips in the first quarter of 2026. The partnership is described by the companies as the first native ride-hailing link inside a major hotel management system.
