UFC Freedom 250 is set for Sunday on the White House lawn. The main event is a lightweight title unification bout between champion Ilia Topuria and interim champion Justin Gaethje. The co-main event pits Ciryl Gane against Alex Pereira for the interim heavyweight title.

Dana White stated that the card is expected to draw Super Bowl-type numbers. Super Bowl viewership routinely clears 100 million in the United States alone. The UFC's biggest events have historically drawn a fraction of that figure.

"For UFC fans all over the world, this is a unique experience for everybody. We're expecting Super Bowl-type numbers for this fight," White said. White also referenced the Sphere event the UFC produced in 2025.

He said the production received widespread acclaim but did not win any awards. "I said the Sphere should have won every award there is in production — it did not. Which doesn't surprise me: Very political.

If we don't win every production award for the White House fight, they should stop doing production awards," White added. The fights carry championship implications. Topuria remains unbeaten at lightweight.

Gaethje has stayed dangerous despite mixed results at the top of the division. The winner of Gane versus Pereira will enter discussions about Tom Aspinall's status at heavyweight. com and last updated on June 9, 2026 at 2:45 AM ET.
