UFC Champion Escorted From White House-Area Event After Arriving Uninvited
Law enforcement removed the UFC middleweight champion from a viewing party on the Ellipse Sunday evening after he arrived without an invitation. Officers cited crowd safety concerns and returned him to his hotel without charges.
New York PostU.S. Park Police said officers responded around 7 p.m. following reports of a disturbance tied to the champion's uninvited arrival. They stated the crowd became disorderly and escorted him back to his hotel for safety reasons.

The champion posted videos on Instagram showing what appeared to be the back of a law enforcement vehicle. " U.S. Park Police told reporters the champion was not cited or arrested and was instructed not to return.
Background The champion had previously criticized the sitting president's foreign policy positions, including support for Israel and a 2025 military action against Iran. He had also referenced the Epstein files in public remarks. The UFC chief executive stated June 9 that the champion had not been banned from the event.
