Ukraine has also asked some other capitals to host the meeting. Ukraine would be ready to consider any place other than Belarus or Russia for a meeting with Putin. 'We addressed the Turks specifically,' Sybiha said.
' The war in Ukraine has lasted more than four years. Belarus is a close ally of Russia. Belarus allowed Moscow to use Belarusian territory to launch its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The Kremlin has said it is willing to host Zelenskiy in Moscow.
Separately, Sybiha has exchanged written messages with Anita Orban.
