Ukraine Reports No Intercepts of Ballistic Missiles Targeting Kyiv

Ukraine reported that it downed none of the ballistic missiles that struck Kyiv after exhausting its supply of Patriot interceptors. The country is requesting more Patriot interceptors from allies at a time when the missiles remain in short supply and high demand.

Ukraine has previously used Patriot systems to intercept incoming ballistic missiles. Without additional interceptors, officials said the systems cannot engage further threats of this type. The request for new interceptors comes as Ukraine continues to face missile strikes on its capital.
