Ukrainian drones struck two Wildberries warehouses and an oil depot in Russia overnight, killing eight people and wounding more than 60 others. Regional officials reported seven night-shift workers died at the warehouse in Kotovsk in the Tambov region, where 25 people were wounded. In the Moscow region, 37 people were wounded and one later died in hospital.

Russian officials said the second warehouse was in Elektrostal, about 50 kilometers east of Moscow. Both warehouses caught fire. A nearby oil depot in Noginsk also burned after being hit, leading to the evacuation of a maternity hospital and a residential building.
Drone debris struck a kindergarten in Elektrostal, starting a fire that was later extinguished. A residential building in Vladimir, roughly 180 kilometers east of Moscow, was hit and briefly caught fire, though no injuries were reported there. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that air defenses intercepted 379 Ukrainian drones over 19 Russian regions, annexed Crimea, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post that long-range strikes targeted two significant logistical facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions that supplied sanctioned components for drone and navigation equipment production.
He added that an oil facility was also struck. "These facilities were used by the aggressor to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment," Zelenskyy stated.
Ukrainian forces also conducted strikes in the Sea of Azov and occupied territory, Zelenskyy said. The company confirmed that the fire at the Kotovsk warehouse was extinguished by Saturday morning. Footage from Russian outlets showed large plumes of smoke over the Elektrostal site.
