Ukrainian Drones Strike Oil Facilities in Stavropol Tver Bashkortostan Rostov and Omsk

Ukrainian drone strikes hit oil depots in the Stavropol and Tver regions an oil pumping station in Bashkortostan and a marine loading terminal in the Rostov region on or before July 9 2026 @zerohedge reported. Long-range drones also struck an oil refinery in Omsk western Siberia nearly 2500 kilometers from Ukraine.

President Zelensky stated that upgraded Fire Point drones had put Siberia within reach of Ukrainian precision.

He described the Omsk attack as a significant blow to Russia’s oil economy and an important achievement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. President Trump said during the NATO summit in Ankara that the escalation could help lead to an end of the war. He added that the United States had a lot of pressure on President Putin and that Putin wants to end the war.

NATO pledged to provide 80 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine in 2027. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on July 9 that European elites are positioning themselves as leaders in the confrontation between the collective West and Russia.

Zakharova said NATO strategists had made irresponsible decisions that could lead to disaster not only for the alliance but for the entire world.

She noted that a constructive agenda remains a low priority for NATO. Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said everyone is talking about war and rearmament and that he did not hear the word peace even once at the summit. Alexander Dugin stated that the NATO summit signals escalation growth of Russophobia and a new phase of war against Iran.
