Ukrainian President Says Reform UK Flag Decision Risks Ties

He noted that Russia poses a threat not only to Ukraine but to Britain as well. He disclosed that he had pressed the UK government over funds from the £2.4bn sale of Chelsea FC, which officials have earmarked for humanitarian purposes in Ukraine.
Zelenskyy also said he wanted Britain to align more closely with the rest of Europe on sanctions.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine would share its wartime experience with allies and urged continued investment in defense. He added that it would be in the interests of NATO members for Ukraine to join the alliance. He said he had asked the UK for help acquiring antiballistic missiles and for funds to place Ukrainian soldiers on professional contracts.
Zelenskyy welcomed UK sanctions on Russia's shadow fleet but called for additional measures against Moscow as quickly as possible.
