Universal UK Theme Park to Begin Construction in Bedfordshire with £5bn Private Investment and £838m Government Grants

Construction is set to soon start on the Universal United Kingdom Resort in Bedfordshire, just outside of London. The project is expected to open in 2031. Comcast NBCUniversal will invest over £5 billion during the five-year construction period.

The company will invest an additional £1 billion in capital over the first 10 years after opening. K. 3 billion in regional and local community infrastructure.
