Auburn Regional teams are No. 4 Auburn, UCF, NC State and Milwaukee. Lincoln Regional teams are No. 13 Nebraska, Mississippi, Arizona State and South Dakota State. Chapel Hill Regional teams are No. 5 North Carolina, Tennessee, East Carolina and VCU. USA Today Sports selected North Carolina.

College Station Regional teams are No. 12 Texas A&M, USC, Texas State and Lamar. Austin Regional teams are No. 6 Texas, UC Santa Barbara, Tarleton State and Holy Cross. Eugene Regional teams are No. 11 Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and Yale.

Tuscaloosa Regional teams are No. 7 Alabama, Oklahoma State, USC Upstate and Alabama State. Tallahassee Regional teams are No. 10 Florida State, Coastal Carolina, Northern Illinois and St. John's. Gainesville Regional teams are No. 8 Florida, Miami, Troy and Rider.

Hattiesburg Regional teams are No. 9 Southern Miss, Virginia, Jacksonville State and Little Rock. USA Today Sports selected Southern Miss.
