Vegas Forward Discusses Mental Health Challenges During Toronto Tenure

Vegas Golden Knights forward Mitch Marner discussed mental health struggles he faced during his time with his previous NHL club. The player said avoiding social media helped reduce external criticism during difficult stretches. He added that changing teams provided relief from ongoing pressure.

Marner led all scorers with 29 points in 22 playoff games this postseason. He recorded the fastest hat trick by an individual in Stanley Cup Final history during one contest. Marner described the team's resilience through the playoffs as a lasting memory from the run. He said the group maintained trust and support for one another despite setbacks.
