Choi Jeong, the career leader in Korea Baseball Organization home runs, has hit 19 home runs and driven in 54 runs in 68 games this season while batting .311. He remains one home run away from becoming the first player to hit 20 or more in 11 consecutive seasons.

Through Tuesday he has made 90 of 199 plate appearances as designated hitter, the second straight season in which more than half of his plate appearances have come at DH. "This really feels weird, something I have never experienced before," Choi said after hitting a two-run homer in a 4-2 win over the Doosan Bears.
