A video obtained by the New York Post shows two teenagers riding on top of a J train as it crossed the Williamsburg Bridge from Lower Manhattan toward Brooklyn on Friday. The 14-year-old boy and his 18-year-old companion were struck by a low beam. The older rider crouched and fell onto the tracks on his back, while the younger rider was hit in the head and fell to the ground below.

Both were found unconscious on the tracks. The 14-year-old was pronounced dead, and the 18-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, police said.

October, a 12-year-old Brooklyn girl died in a similar incident on the same bridge. She had posted videos of subway surfing on TikTok before the accident. The two boys in Friday's incident were also documented on TikTok under the account @gh0strider_69.
