A video posted on July 18 shows a Ukrainian heavy UAV airlifting a small unmanned ground vehicle suspended beneath it and delivering the device deep into front lines. @zerohedge reported the footage, which was originally shared by the X account Drone Wars. Counter Unmanned Systems identified the vehicle as the GNOM, a ground loitering munition manufactured by Polish firm Macro-System.

The account stated that the GNOM reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h and weighs 7 kg when equipped with a warhead. The same post described the GNOM as a lightweight attritable system that has taken part in various European armed force exercises. The video depicts the UAV transporting the UGV into contested areas where such robotic pairings are becoming more common.
