Eulálio holds a 2-minute, 24-second lead over Vingegaard in the general classification. Gall sits 35 seconds further behind Vingegaard. Vingegaard had won the previous uphill stage at Blockhaus two days earlier. 7 kilometers remaining after attacking from the breakaway.
Vingegaard stayed behind Gall until the final kilometer, then accelerated to create a gap. The move secured his second stage victory of the race.
Next Stages Monday is the Giro's second rest day.
Tuesday features the only individual time trial of the 2026 edition, a 42-kilometer flat route from Viareggio to Massa. The men's Giro concludes on May 31 in Rome. The women's Giro runs from May 30 to June 7, with Elisa Longo Borghini as defending champion.
