A promised appearance by Andrew Tate at the cryptocurrency-based online casino Duel turned out to be performer Brian Michael Hinds, known as Bottom G. WiredA cryptocurrency-based online casino called Duel aired a blackjack livestream last month hosted by Brian Michael Hinds performing as Bottom G. The dealer, a bald man with dark stubble wearing a black T-shirt, tight suit and sunglasses, remained mostly silent before breaking into song, vigorous twerking and ridiculous dance moves.
He performed a full split on the blackjack table and made out with a male assistant by pulling him in by his necktie.
The Duel livestream performance went viral. Ossi Ketola, founder and owner of Duel, wrote in the casino’s Discord server that it had been promised Andrew Tate would deal blackjack. Ketola stated the casino realized it was an impostor after the performer arrived at the studio.
By that point, Ketola said, Duel was too far in and costs had been incurred so the casino ran with it to save face. Duel did not respond to a request for comment regarding the alleged bait and switch. Wired reported the sequence of events.
Brian Michael Hinds’ real name is Brian Michael Hinds and he is known as Bottom G. The 29-year-old is half-German and half-Barbadian. He told WIRED that Duel fully understood it was hiring Bottom G, not Andrew Tate.
Hinds spoke to WIRED on a Zoom call from Istanbul at 2 am. He has no fixed address and travels wherever opportunity knocks. His résumé includes singing on Germany’s version of American Idol and dancing at the Moulin Rouge in Paris.
Following the viral Duel livestream, Hinds says he now has offers to perform his songs at a show in Bangkok and at a wedding in Las Vegas. He plans to work with Duel again. Hinds launched himself as a street-dancing internet personality in 2022 to promote his music.
In 2022, Hinds’ accounts were flooded with comments comparing his looks to Andrew Tate’s. He adopted the persona of Bottom G as a strategy for marketing his music while trying to avoid outright impersonation of Andrew Tate. His manager claims that live Bottom G performances can fetch $10,000 to $15,000.
The biggest brand deals for Hinds, like Duel, can reach six figures. Hinds claims Tristan Tate reached out to him via Instagram DM in 2022 to support what he was doing as Bottom G. Meta banned the Tates in August 2022.
The Tate brothers recorded themselves grooving in a sports car to the song. “Can We Talk About Us” has been streamed nearly 4 million times on Spotify. ” Wired reported that Hinds is experimenting with more outlandish wardrobes to differentiate himself from Tate.
’” His manager confirmed the highest-paying brand deals can reach six figures.
