Zach McGinnis, a representative for Kane, told TMZ that Kane was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. McGinnis said Kane died from complications from a stroke he suffered in 2020. McGinnis paid tribute to Kane's family life, noting that Kane and his wife built a family of nine children through biological, adoptive, and foster relationships.
Kane also voiced characters in video games including the Call of Duty and Star Wars franchises. One of his final social media posts showed a reunion with his Powerpuff Girls co-stars. Final arrangements have not been publicly disclosed.
