Warriors Rally Past Grizzlies 94-90 to Win Summer League Title
Yaxel Lendeborg scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 94-90 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA summer league championship game. The win came on July 19 at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Golden State defeated Memphis 94-90 in the NBA summer league championship on July 19 at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, ESPN reported. Lendeborg, the 11th overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, outdueled Cameron Boozer, who finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists after starring for the University of Michigan's NCAA championship team during the 2025-26 season.
He became the second player to win a Division I NCAA title and an NBA summer league championship in the same year, joining Davion Mitchell. The Warriors finished the summer league with a 5-1 record and claimed their second title in the event. Deivon Smith added 21 points off the bench for Golden State, and five Warriors players reached double figures in scoring.
The score was tied at halftime. Boozer hit a three-pointer at the end of the third quarter to give Memphis its first double-digit lead, but Lendeborg responded with three consecutive baskets in the fourth quarter to spark the comeback. Memphis had chances to win or force overtime in the final minute, but Boozer missed a potential game-winning three-pointer and Olivier-Maxence Prosper threw away an inbounds pass.
The Grizzlies ended summer league play with a 4-2 record after trading All-Stars Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. prior to the event. Lendeborg's Michigan team had lost to Boozer's Duke squad in February 2026. "Coming into this program, I just wanted to prove that I'm a winner," Lendeborg said.
