White Elephant Holiday Horror Film Adds KJ Apa, Madeleine Arthur and Others to Cast

The cast of White Elephant, a holiday horror film directed by Eli Craig, has been expanded with new additions. Deadline reported the inclusion of KJ Apa, known for Riverdale; Madeleine Arthur, from Devil in Ohio; Josh Brener, of Silicon Valley; Ashley Park, from Emily in Paris; Alexandra Shipp, who appeared in Anyone but You; and Justice Smith, from I Saw the TV Glow.

Nick Jonas and Kathryn Newton lead the cast, as previously announced. Production on White Elephant is underway. The film marks the first title under MRC's venture with RSPX, a partnership with Radio Silence and Project X aimed at developing horror and thriller projects.

The story follows eight friends whose annual holiday gift exchange turns into a deadly game, with the logline stating: Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust. Their annual festive holiday gift exchange spirals into a cutthroat game of Christmas carnage.

Details Eli Craig is directing from a script by JT Billings, with Craig contributing additional writing. MRC is financing the production. Producers include Spencer Berman and Nick Jonas for Powered By Jonas, as well as William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt for Project X, Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin.
