White House Calls Mark Hamill 'Sick Individual' After Actor Posts AI Image of Trump

Hamill, known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, shared the image on his Bluesky account Wednesday along with a caption that read: "If Only- He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes.

" Variety has reached out to Hamill’s representative for comment.

Hamill has been a regular and outspoken critic of Trump and his policies. In an interview last year with The Times of London, he said he told his wife to choose between moving to London or Ireland after Trump was re-elected U.S. president in 2024. The actor ultimately decided to remain in the U.S. for now.

About the current administration, Hamill said, "The bullying, the incompetence, the people in place... The only way I can deal with it without going crazy and wanting to open my veins in a warm tub is to look at it like a thick, sprawling political novel.
