White House Highlights 25 Gas Stations Selling Fuel at $3.47 per Gallon in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

The White House announced on X the launch of the Freedom Fuel network of 25 gas stations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey selling gasoline at $3.47 per gallon. The post stated that President Trump is leading the charge to lower gas prices this summer. President Donald Trump addressed crowds at Mount Rushmore on July 3 and warned of a resurgence of the communist menace in our land.

He spoke on the National Mall on July 4 and stated that communism must be stopped before it begins and is a cancer that must be cut out fast. Newsweek reported that the Trump administration has obtained direct stakes in nearly two dozen companies since January 2025. These include a golden share in U.S.

Steel that grants the president veto authority over key corporate decisions and a 10 percent stake in Intel. Trump ordered a Justice Department probe into U.S. oil companies over alleged price gouging.

He threatened big problems for gas station owners who failed to get their prices down immediately. Trump posted on Truth Social a photo of a Freedom Fuel Network station and wrote that a very smart retailer would be lowering gas prices at 25 Freedom Fuel stations across the Greater Philadelphia Area. Freedom Fuel Network LLC filed a trademark application on July 1.

A White House spokesperson told Newsweek on Thursday that the administration is not involved in Freedom Fuel Network LLC, has given the company no funding, and that no other entity or person is subsidizing the lower gasoline costs. The White House stated that the company is reducing its margin to make prices at the pump more affordable for drivers in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

The $3.47-per-gallon price was roughly 50 cents below Pennsylvania's statewide average at the time of the announcement.
