The post appeared ahead of the Fourth of July weekend and amid celebrations marking America’s semi-quincentennial. Newsweek reported that the video had accumulated 1.1 million views and more than 100,000 likes by Tuesday morning.
It features images including the Statue of Liberty, the White House, Mount Rushmore, Times Square, the Jefferson Memorial, Grand Prismatic Spring, Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, Squaretop Mountain in Wyoming, and the Reflecting Pool. Additional images show retail and food items such as Buc-ee’s, a Walmart, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Texas barbecue, tortilla chips and salsa, a cheeseburger, a hot dog, pancakes, ranch dressing, a bucket of Chick-fil-A ice, and a man holding a Super Big Gulp from 7-Eleven.
The video also includes an air-conditioning unit, race cars, a football stadium, the Georgia Bulldogs, Country Jam USA, Miss Rodeo USA, a man shotgunning a beer, a car driving in the dirt, Cool Springs Station on Route 66, and the UFC 250 event at the White House.
One image shows President Trump at the rally in Pennsylvania where he was shot. Comments on the video included one read “fast food & a gas station” that received more than 26,000 likes, another stating “Did yall deadass put air conditioning” with over 4,700 likes, and a third reading “This is a joke right” that drew more than 4,900 likes.
