Wing Expands Walmart Drone Delivery to Seven More U.S. Cities

U.S. markets. Wing already delivers Walmart goods in Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Greater Houston. The Alphabet-owned company has also announced plans to expand to Orlando, Tampa, Charlotte, St.
Louis, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and Miami. The expansion forms part of a plan to operate drone delivery from more than 270 Walmart locations by next year. Walmart conducted successful deployments with Wing in Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta before increasing its commitment.
In January 2026 the companies announced plans to add the service to an additional 150 Walmart stores. Wing has completed more than 1 million commercial deliveries through the Walmart partnership. Heather Rivera, Wing’s chief business officer, said the top 25 percent of customers use the service three times a week.
“Our work with Walmart has shown that drone delivery isn’t just a novelty, it’s a service many customers count on multiple times per week,” Rivera said in a statement announcing the new markets. TechCrunch reported the expansion on June 10, 2026.
