James “Michelle” Blessent pled guilty in 2024 to predatory sexual assault of his own children, ages 8 and 9. Blessent was sent to segregation earlier in 2025 for allegedly raping a female inmate at Logan Correctional Center. Logan currently holds 12 male offenders.

At a constituent coffee meet-and-greet, Pressley informed Sen. Dick Durbin that at least a dozen men are housed at Logan Correctional Center. Sara Jay McGuffey, a college student from California and a detransitioner, witnessed a legislative aide from a Senate Democrat’s office react with a “lightbulb moment” after being shown mugshots of male inmates.

Arianne Gieringer, co-vice president of the LGB Alliance’s USA chapter, met with three staffers of Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI). Gieringer and Sen. Tammy Baldwin both attended Smith College.

The group filed a civil rights complaint in 2016 suing the Obama administration over its attempt to redefine sex in Title IX. WoLF is a nonpartisan nonprofit that operates on a shoestring budget.
