X Games Chiba 2026 took place July 4 and 5 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, as the second stop of the newly launched X Games League, Japan Times reported. Coco Yoshizawa won silver in the women's skateboard street competition, marking her first X Games medal. Sora Shirai placed third in the men's skateboard street event.
Shirai entered the competition with one prior gold and three bronze medals from earlier X Games appearances. Mizuho Hasegawa captured gold in the women's skateboard vert event. Mia Kretzer finished second and Juno Matsuoka took third in the same competition.
Members of the XC Tokyo team competed at the event and posed for photographs on the vert ramp afterward. All images from the competition were taken by photographer Bobby Schaub.
