The VergeReservations for the Xreal Aura XR glasses opened today for a $99 deposit. The device is the second Android XR product and is expected to reach stores in the US, UK, Japan, Canada, and South Korea this fall. The glasses follow the Samsung Galaxy XR headset, which launched in October 2025 at $1,799. No final price for the Aura has been announced.
Product details The Aura weighs under 95 grams and uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite chip. Qualcomm's XR head stated the chip and Android XR software target better immersive experiences, higher performance, greater intelligence, and improved power optimization.
Buyers who reserve during the first two weeks will receive a $199 credit toward the final purchase price. Best Buy is listed as the first in-store retail partner.
Next steps Xreal plans to show the glasses at the Augmented World Expo running June 15-18 in Long Beach, California. Additional launch details may be released during the event.
