Yemen Government Says Iran and Houthis Breached Airspace

Yemen's defence minister said the government will respond appropriately to what it described as a breach of the country's airspace by Iran and the Houthi group. A statement from the Presidential Leadership Council said the violations occurred despite mediation efforts and reflected disregard for state institutions.

Iranian state media reported that Revolutionary Guard naval forces fired warning shots at two ships attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz. A correspondent said the vessels were targeted after attempting an illegal crossing. U.S. missiles struck three locations in the Iranian city of Abadan, killing at least two people and wounding three others, according to Mehr news agency.
Israeli forces released video of what they said were hidden tunnels under Lebanon's Beaufort Castle and footage of explosions in southern Lebanese villages. Intermittent artillery fire continued between Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit. Bahrain's military said its air defence systems intercepted Iranian missile and drone attacks and placed all units on high alert.
