YY Group Signs Non-Binding Deal With Velobotics for Autonomous Cleaning Fleets
YY Group Holding Limited announced a 24-month non-binding memorandum of understanding with Beijing Velobotics Tech Co., Ltd. The agreement covers deployment of VIGGO L4 autonomous floor-scrubbing robots in Singapore and Malaysia.
nationalpost.comLtd. The agreement designates YY Group as a regional commercialization and deployment partner for Velobotics' VIGGO autonomous fleets in Singapore and Malaysia. The initial phase will evaluate the VIGGO SC series. These units use Velobotics' proprietary autonomous driving deep-learning architecture, multi-sensor fusion, and automated docking workstations that handle water replenishment, draining, and charging without manual intervention.
Group plans to integrate the robots into premium commercial sites it already manages under its integrated facility management contracts. Targeted locations include transportation hubs, major banking facilities, and mixed-use complexes. The collaboration is intended to reduce reliance on manual labor and support higher-margin service offerings across the company's IFM portfolio.
"Integrating L4 autonomous driving technology into our daily IFM workflows bridges the gap between traditional manual operations and high-margin smart facility management," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group.
