Larsson invited a fan named Kayleigh on stage to perform the Lush Life dance routine. Kayleigh received a custom t-shirt before the performance. This was Larsson's fourth appearance at Big Weekend and her first time headlining a major European festival, BBC Radio 1 stated.
Larsson first gained attention after winning Sweden's version of Britain's Got Talent in 2008. Her song Lush Life reached number three on the UK charts earlier this year. She closed the set with the title track from Midnight Sun and her 2017 collaboration Symphony with Clean Bandit. Before leaving the stage she said summer had just started.

She played tracks including d£aler, Post Sex Clarity, One Thing, and Messy. James Blake performed on the New Music stage with songs such as Godspeed, Retrograde, and I'll Come Too. Mitski also appeared on the same stage during the afternoon. Louis Tomlinson performed One Direction's Night Changes along with solo tracks including Imposter, Lemonade, and Sunflowers.
Ellie Goulding, Skye Newman, and Rachel Chinouriri also performed during the day.
