Zhang Xue donated five million yuan to the Guangxi Charity Federation on July 9 to support disaster relief after heavy rains caused dam breaches and flooding that killed 39 people in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The founder of motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO cleared a 100-million-yuan corporate debt shortly before the donation.
The debt included personal borrowing to repurchase shares and a shortfall in the company’s registered capital.
Zhang posted the announcement on his social media account and sent a team with supplies to the affected area in addition to the monetary gift. ZXMOTO gained attention earlier in 2026 when French rider Valentin Debise won two races in the WorldSSP class of the Superbike World Championship on the company’s 820RR-RS model.
