China’s Tianwen-2 spacecraft arrives at asteroid Kamoʻoalewa after 13-month journey
The probe reached the quasi-satellite on July 4, 2026, after 13 months of travel. It will orbit the asteroid for nine months to collect samples before departing in 2027.
