NBA Receives Bids from Over 20 Groups for Planned European League
The NBA received finalized bids from more than 20 groups for its planned NBA Europe league scheduled to launch in October 2027. Bids targeted permanent franchises in 12 cities with some offers exceeding $1 billion. The league will include 16 teams and operate alongside FIBA.
