Red Hot Chili Peppers Sells Music Catalog to Warner Music Group for Over $300 Million

The rock band sold its recorded music catalog to Warner Music Group in a transaction valued at more than $300 million. The deal forms approximately half of a $650 million joint venture catalog acquisition with Bain Capital. The band has not confirmed the reported sale.
