EU Energy Ministers Reach Deal on Grid Planning Role
Energy ministers from EU countries agreed on 26 June to give national authorities a larger role in setting future electricity grid scenarios. The deal also requires system operators to direct a portion of congestion revenue to cross-border projects starting in 2028.
