Daughters of the American Revolution Rejects Resolution on Membership Eligibility
Delegates at the group's 135th Continental Congress last month voted against clarifying that only biological women qualify for membership. Fewer than 2,500 of 190,000 active members took part. More than 100 chapters in 34 states have since requested an October special meeting.
