Survey Finds 1,999 Descendants Active in A-Bomb Survivors Group as 13 Prefectural Organizations Dissolve
Nihon Hidankyo reported that nearly 2,000 children and grandchildren of atomic bomb survivors take part in linked organizations. The survey also showed second-generation members holding leadership posts in several prefectures as the original hibakusha age.
