Tesla's Giga Berlin factory has produced its 1,000,000th drive unit, doubling output from 500,000 units in under a year. The facility opened in March 2022 and integrates motors, gearboxes, and power electronics into each unit. Every Tesla vehicle requires one such drive unit.
