Germany Considers Raising Voluntary Return Payment for Syrian Residents to €8,000

German authorities are evaluating an increase in financial incentives for Syrian residents to return to Syria. The proposed amount is eight times the current payment. More than 900,000 Syrians live in Germany without citizenship.
